1950s Swan Lake
This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.
Beautiful gown by the designer Emma Domb Featuring layers of tulle and a fitted bodice with an illusion neckline. Laurel lace trim the collar and skirt. The dress closes with buttons down the back, and there is a small train that follows.
Measurements:
Bust 33 inches
Waist 25 inches
Length 60 inches
In good condition. A few repairs made to tulle skirt and bodice overlay: A small tear above the back of right armpit, above front of left armpit, and 2 tears in bottom of skirt near the hem. Other than these, dress is very structurally stable. Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
The dress is modeled with a crinoline to achieve the authentic 1950s look. Please note these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.
