1950s Lady of Lace
This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.
Fully lace gown with a nipped waist and full skirt. The bodice features long lace sleeves and the skirt is adorned with satin detailing and a bow in the front and back. The dress closes with a zipper and has a small train that follows.
Measurements:
Bust 28 inches
Waist 22 inches
Length 60 inches
In good condition. Some spots on linings but nothing visible from the outside. Satin bow on front is slightly discolored from age. Lace fully intact! Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
The dress is modeled with a crinoline to achieve the authentic 1950s look. Please note these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.
