1960s Satin Serenity
This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.
Lovely 1960s satin dress with boat neckline and french corded lace on the bust. The fitted bodice molds around the figure with the help from the corset expansion we altered in the back. We also restyled the sleeves into caps for the perfect romantic touch.
Measurements:
Bust 32-36 inches
Waist 24-28 inches
Length 54 inches
In good condition. Sleeves reworked to be cap sleeves. Corset back added to allow for size flexibility. Skirt train lining stained from signs of wear (not visible from outside). Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
The dress is modeled with a crinoline to achieve the authentic 1960s look. Please note these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.
