1950s Everlasting Bouquet
This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.
Immaculate 1950s dress by the label Bridal original, this was a sample dress and was never worn by a bride, it was used to try on in a Bridal store. We have lovingly restored the dress and made a custom bow to adorn the back along with a handmade flower from M&S Schmalberg Flower Factory in New York.
The bodice features a Sweetheart lining and illusion neckline with French corded lace detailing. The full skirt flows effortlessly and has a train that follows. Lovely buttons secured the dress in the back.
Measurements:
Bust 34 inches
Waist 26.5 inches
Length 60 inches
In great condition. Small hole patched at bottom of skirt train, bow reworked on skirt back, and lace on neckline tacked to lining. With original tags from showroom. Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
The dress is modeled with a crinoline to achieve the authentic 1950s look. Please note these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.
