1940s Candlelight Satin
1940s satin and lace wedding gown featuring a sculpted bodice with a sheer illusion neckline, scalloped lace detailing, and long lace sleeves. Covered buttons run down the back for a classic vintage finish, and the skirt flows into a full elegant train. There is an antique hip bustle sewn into the gown to give the dress a flattering silhouette. The gown is made from rich satin and floral lace with a soft ivory tone. While the train appears wrinkled in the photos due to transit, the fabric will smooth out beautifully when steamed, revealing its full sheen and drape. Please refer to the photos of the dress hanging on the mirror to see it steamed in its full glory! A timeless piece with understated elegance.
This dress is in good condition, especially for its age. Please note all dresses are vintage and might have signs of wear due to their age. Some of the buttons have discoloration, and there has been a repair to the piping on the neckline. The dress has been cleaned multiple times to restore its beauty and comes freshly cleaned and ready to wear! There are a couple faint spots that are hidden in the skirt, refer to photos.
