Awakened Beauty
This incredible gown is an Amore original, Lovingly designed and stitched by our team. We combined two vintage gowns to bring life to this beauty. The bodice is from a 1980s dress that we removed the sleeves and bound for a comfortable sleeveless design. We also changed the original neck line from a square to a sweetheart, to mimic the scallop lace. The hem was raised to hit at the perfect dropped waist, and we reattached the lace trim to blend the bodice and skirt. The skirt is composed from a 1950s wedding dress that was unwearable due to the delicate bodice. We detached the skirt and combined it with the 80s dress and removed the bottom tier to create a detachable Watteau cape. This floats effortlessly when worn and adds interest that can be styled in multiple ways, As well as clipped in the hair for a veil.
The bodice does not have any boning and is unstructured. The dress is also photographed with a trumpet hoop skirt to give volume to the tiered skirt. We suggest wearing these undergarments to truly bring the design to Life, these are not included with the dress.
We have spent countless hours designing and restoring this gown and are so pleased with the result. This is a Vintage dress and has minor signs of wear when inspected closely. For example, there are small holes in the lace, but the dress is completely wearable.
The gown is very petite and unable to be expanded due to the fitted hips. Please refer to the measurements below.
