1950s Satin Royalty
An example of mid-century excellence, this dress is composed of a thick satin and lined with interfacing for additional structure. Beautiful seams sculpt the bodice and a scooped neckline frame the face beautifully. Long sleeves come to a point at the wrist and close with buttons. A gorgeous train flows from the  dropped waist.
The dress has been thoroughly hand, clean and restored. Some of the seams were restitched to be reinforced. The draped detail below the waist can be worn folded up or down. We will tack the fabric folded up if you prefer it like this, just let us know!
The dress is a white tone, please refer to the photos of the dress hanging for its true color. We used vintage film to photograph the dress on the model, and the color was distorted.
The dress is modeled here with a boned underbodice and crinoline to achieve the authentic 1950s look. Please note that these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.
This dress is in good condition. Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age.
