1950s Princess Gown Set

Step into timeless elegance with this beautifully restored 1950s vintage wedding gown. Crafted from a satin blend with lace appliqué details throughout. The gown features a structured bodice with a romantic sweetheart neckline softened by newly reinforced cap sleeves. Originally designed with long sleeves, the fabric was too delicate to preserve as-is, so it was thoughtfully repurposed to enhance the dress’s wearability and charm. The salvaged original lace sleeves were repurposed for gloves that perfectly complement the dress’s vintage aesthetic. Additionally, a piece of this treasured fabric has been crafted into an optional eye mask or hair accessory, offering a cohesive bridal look or a unique keepsake.

The dress is a white tone, please refer to the photos of the dress hanging for its true color. We used vintage film to photograph the dress on the model, and the color was distorted.

The dress is modeled here with a boned underbodice and crinoline to achieve the authentic 1950s look. Please note that these undergarments are not included with the dress, but I’m more than happy to recommend shops where you can find similar pieces to recreate this silhouette.

This dress has been thoughtfully restored through many hours of meticulous work. It has been carefully hand-cleaned; however, a few faint marks remain. The lace along the hem of the train has been repaired in several areas, and a few small holes were left intact as they blend seamlessly with the lace. As with all vintage garments, minor signs of wear may be present. Please refer to the photos for details.
