1950s Flower Amongst Thorns

This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.

Vintage wedding dress from the 1950s with flower detailing. This dress has the classic fit and flare look common from the period with a rare flower design. There is a fitted bodice with nipped waist that flows into a voluminous skirt. There are "stems" that are draped around the dress and pink flower accents. This dress is in good condition with a few signs of wear to note. There is a very faint mark on the inside of the bodice (refer to photo 5). Also the hem has some faint spots that look like water marks. Please note all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age. The dress is pictured with a crinoline underneath to fill out the skirt and give more volume.
