1940s Draped Waist Gown

This dress was featured in our fashion show fundraiser and 100% of its profits will be donated to the Emmanuel Home of Protection in Nicaragua. This is a safe home for young girls who have been abused and impregnated usually by family members. The home provides a safe environment for the girls to grow and heal from the traumas they've experienced.

Vintage wedding dress from the 1940s made from a luxurious satin fabric. Featuring a striking draped waist and cascading skirt design. The Dress has a large train with a beautiful scalloped hem. Covered buttons line the back of the dress for an elegant closure.

This 90 year old dress is in good condition and has some signs of wear. Some of the beads are missing, but this goes unnoticed. There are some faint marks / pulls in the fabric and there is a small hole in the back of the dress. The lining of the draped waist has some holes, but this is completely hidden as its under the fabric. Please refer to photos and know all items are vintage and might have minor signs of wear due to its age. This dress would sell for nearly $2500 if it was in perfect condition, but is priced accordingly.
